No compromise on CPEC security, COAS tells Chinese envoy

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Yao Jing, Ambassador of China to Pakistan, called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ on Tuesday. According to a press release issued by the ISPR, matters of mutual interest, including regional security issues, were discussed during the meeting. The Chinese ambassador appreciated conduct of successful visit of the Chinese foreign minister and across the board support for China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Pakistan. The COAS reiterated that the CPEC is economic future of Pakistan and its security will never be compromised.
