No conspiracy in delay in convening NA session: FM Qureshi

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that there is no conspiracy in delay in convening the National Assembly session. Expressing his views in 92 News Program ‘Night Edition’ on Wednesday, he said that the delay in the NA session is due to precautionary measures. He said that they are not happy at clamping a lockdown. “Its objective is to make the people secure,” he said. Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that they are taking steps in good faith. “We will follow the good proposals of the opposition. We are trying to bring the opposition on board and looking for a suitable way,” he said. The minister said that lockdown restrictions will have to be tightened if the cases increase. He said that only government cannot implement the 20-point agenda. “Ulema and the masses will have to play their role. We are creating awareness among the masses,” he said.
