No effort will be spared to defend national security, sovereignty: PM Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that that no effort will be spared to defend national security and sovereignty.
He made these remarks during his visit to ISI Headquarters on Wednesday. Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa was also accompanying him.
The prime minister appreciated the sacrifices and tireless efforts of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
On the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan was given a comprehensive briefing encompassing complex regional and domestic challenges with special focus on Pakistan's efforts for restoration of peace and stability.
Federal Ministers Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Minister for Planning Asad Umar and Special Assistant to Prime Minister on National Security Moeed Yousuf were also present.
Earlier, DG ISI Lt Gen Faiz Hamid received the prime minister on his arrival at the ISI Headquarters.
