No gap between bar and bench, says Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali has said that there is no gap between the bar and the bench. He was speaking at a farewell dinner hosted in his honor by the Supreme Court Bar Association on Wednesday. The CJP said that provision of justice is impossible without cooperation between the bar and bench. “I feel as if I took oath as the CJP yesterday,” he said. He thanked lawyers and his colleague judges for extending cooperation. CJP-designate Justice Saqib Nisar said that CJP Anwar Zaheer Jamali passed his tenure in a dignified way. He stressed the need for strengthened relation between the bar and the bench. SCBA president Rashid A Rizvi also spoke.
