No need of any movement, govt will topple itself: Maryam Nawaz

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz has said that there is no need of any movement against the incumbent government; it will topple itself. She said in a statement before attending her party’s session in the parliament on Monday. Crticizing on the PTI-led government, Maryam Nawaz said that the government is its own enemy and will topple itself. The PML-N vice president termed that Prime Minister Imran Khan has nothing to speak except of lies. She also mentioned that only the supremacy of the democracy and the parliament can run the country. The parliamentary meeting of the PML-N was held under the chair of former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Raja Zafarul in the parliament house. Maryam Nawaz, Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz and senior party leaders are present in the session while provincial presidents have also been summoned. PML-N General Secretary Ahsan Iqbal, Talal Chaudhr, Barjees Tahir, Pervaiz Rashid, Mehtab Abbasi, Rana Tanveer, Rana Sanaullah and Maryam Aurangzeb were also present in the meeting. It was reported that Maryam Nawaz to inform the party leadership regarding the development that was made during the meeting with the opposition parties at the Iftar dinner hosted by Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday (yesterday).
Opposition announces to convene APC after Eid, stage protest separately
The opposition has announced to convene an all parties conference (APC) and stage the protest against the government separately. The opposition leader also discussed the premature elections or national government.
PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the protest would continue in the parliament. PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz expressed the resolve to improve the Charter of Democracy. JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman asked the leaders to come on roads against the government. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had hosted an Iftar dinner in honor of leading opposition political parties in Islamabad on Sunday. It is noteworthy that Bilawal Bhutto invited opposition leaders, including PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz Sharif, to an Iftar dinner today. The opposition parties’ meeting also includes delegations from Awami National Party (ANP) and Jamaat-e-Islami. Pakistan Muslim League-N leaders Maryam Nawaz and Hamza Shehbaz attended the Iftar. Among other leaders who attended the Iftar dinner are Aftab Sherpao, Liaquat Baloch, PTM leaders and Shah Awais Noorani. Akhtar Mengal and Mahmood Khan Achazkzai have excused from attending the meeting due to prior personal commitments. It was reported that Bilawal Bhutto has played an important role to bring the opposition on the same page. Sunday’s iftar dinner could prove an important step for the protest movement against PTI’s government. The sources said that yhe opposition parties discussed overall political and economic situation of the country. The opposition mulled over strategy against the Pakistan incumbent government, particularly in the backdrop of the bad economic condition of the country. Former President Asif Ali Zardari, PMl-N leader Ayaz Sadiq, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, ANP leader Mian Iftikhar Hussain, PTM leaders Ali Wazir, Muhsin Dawar, Jamaat-e-Islami leader Liaqat Baloch, PPP leaders Khurshid Shah, Raza Rabbani, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Yousuf Raza Gillani were also present in the event.
