ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The joint opposition rejected the establishment of Corona Tiger Force on Tuesday. Releasing a list of demands after consultation with other opposition leaders, he said that the establishment of Tiger Force in the presence of the Army, Rangers, police and other law-enforcement agencies aimed at political purposes. “The government should restore the local governments instead of wasting money on it,” he maintained. He demanded a joint parliamentary committee should be formed to monitor the relief fund. “A meeting of the Standing Committee on Health of the Senate and the National Assembly should be called immediately. During the meeting, the parliamentary leaders should be informed about the current situation and the government’s strategy in this regard,” he demanded. Shehbaz Sharif demanded that corona tests and screening should be provided free in government hospitals and its scope should be extended. “The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) should be immediately restored and activated,” he added. He also demanded that doctors, nurses and medical staff should immediately be provided protective gears, masks and other necessary equipment. The opposition leader demanded that the provision of ventilators should be ensured as early as possible. “A national media campaign should be launched and the nation should be informed about the facts,” he maintained. He said that the NAB-Niazi nexus had once again victimizing the opposition and the opposition leader.
