ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz has said that she has further strengthened, not weakened. Talking to the media after a meeting with Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Thursday, she said that no one can suppress her by intimidation. “I do not want that my father should return from London without treatment,” she said. The PML-N vice-president said that she would play her role when the party would ask her to do so. “Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has earned a commendable position in the hearts of party leaders and workers.” To a question, she said that there may be several reasons behind her silence. “The PML-N has two slogans – ‘Vote Ko Izzat Do’ (Respect the Vote) and PM Nawaz Sharif,” she said. Maryam Nawaz said that all of them, including Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Ahsan Iqbal, were trained in their childhood. “Miftah Ismail has served the jail first time. “He has been termed Nelson Mandela for his perseverance.” She said that 90 percent of heart arteries of Nawaz Sharif are closed. “Nawaz Sharif has never said that he will not undergo surgery without Maryam Nawaz,” she said. Maryam Nawaz said that her brothers are with her father. “My father is alike for me and my brothers. My wish to meet my father is justified and it should not be sacrificed for politics,” she maintained. She said that she would definitely go to London if the court allowed her. “Courts know the reality of cases against me. The condition of my father is not well.” The PML-N vice-president said that the PTI has been exposed for being in the power. “It is reality that Pakistan and the nation will suffer a loss unless the PTI is in the power,” she added. She said that the government should mention in the letter that it had declared Nawaz Sharif unwell. “It should also be mentioned in the letter whether it is telling a lie now or had told the lie in the past,” she added. Later, she visited the house of Ahsan Iqbal and congratulated him on his release.
