No one should be allowed to enter govt offices without face mask: CM

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar has directed that no one should be allowed to enter government offices without a face mask. The directive issued by the chief minister says that no one would be exempted from the mandatory wearing of face masks and citizens visiting offices of government departments must wear masks. “Any violation of government orders will not be tolerated,” he warned. The Punjab chief minister said that wearing a face mask and washing hands frequently is now social responsibility. Earlier, CM Buzdar has appealed from the people to change their life style for prevention of coronavirus (COVID-19). In a statement, the chief minister said that the people can protect themselves from the deadly virus by changing the way they socialise. He appealed to the people to cover their faces while stepping out. He also said that the government is striving to contain the infection. “With changing of socialization process we will combat this disease. Adoption of precautionary measures is imperative for healthy life,” the chief minister maintained. He advised people to wear masks and remain safe. He said that government is working to eradicate this pandemic on permanent basis. He said that with wearing masks we can prevent ourselves and our elders. Meanwhile, talking to Provincial Law Minister Raja Basharat in Lahore, the chief minister said new laws should be enacted for better implementation of measures to control the spread of coronavirus.
