No one will be allowed to suppress media, PEMRA should act on 92 News closure: Pervaiz Rasheed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Reacting on 92 News closure in Bahria Town and its adjoining areas, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed said only Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) should be contacted in case of complaints. He said no one will be allowed to suppress and attack media, adding that media is completely independent and free in Pakistan. Earlier, 92 News programme Muqabil discussed Public Accounts Committee report detailing irregularities in Bahria Enclave.
