No sacred cow as if Imran Khan breaks law then police should take action: PM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan said that there is no sacred cow as if Imran Khan breaks the law then the police should take action.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Eagle Squad at Safe City Headquarters on Wednesday, the prime minister has urged the police to deal politely with the poor to build a vibrant and progressive society.

He said that putting the poor behind bars is not law enforcement but placing the powerful under the law is a real execution of rules and regulations. "Where action was taken and you did not take action, I will take action against you," he maintained.

The prime minister emphasized on taking advantage of modern technology to enhance capacity of the police force. He said maintenance of law and order in the federal capital has great significance for image building of the country and attracting investments.
