No shortage of food items in country, officials informs finance adviser

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A meeting was chaired by  Finance Adviser Dr Hafeez Shaikh in Islamabad on Wednesday to review the supply and prices of essential food items. Utility Store Corporations (USC), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and industry and production officials attended the session under the chair of Hafeez Shaikh. During the session, the finance adviser reviewed supply, prices of essential food items. The meeting was informed that there is no shortage of food items in the country. The provincial and district administration was directed to take further steps to bring down the prices of essential commodities. The meeting also discussed proposals to keep the prices of commodities stable during the holy month of Ramadan.
