No shortage of Urea in country, say ministers

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - There is no shortage of Urea in the country and the scarcity has been created artificially.

This was stated by Caretaker Federal Ministers Murtaza Solangi and Sarfraz Bugti on Tuesday.

They said that the government had ordered all chief secretaries and IGPs to arrest the people involved in creating the artificial shortage of Urea in the country.

"Urea has been imported and the middleman is benefitting from the situation. "All units will continue to work and no one will be shut," they said.

The ministers were of the view that the country had gas reserves, but they were not making payment to the companies. "Several companies left due to the non-payment issue. We are devising such system so that all companies should resume work," they disclosed.
