ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that there is no similarity between the sit-in of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the protest march of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rahman. Addressing a press conference at Foreign Office on Wednesday, he said that they have capability to resolve the political matters in a political way. He said that they had decided to form a dialogue committee to be headed by Defence Minister Pervaiz Khattak. “We are ready to talk on the matter if it has some weight,” he said. The minister said that they had decided to engage political parties to deal with the problems. He said that Iran and Saudi Arabia had encouraged them. “The relations with the US have improved a lot. PM Imran Khan had good conversation with US President Donald Trump,” he said. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Pakistan was ready to play the role for peace in the region. “The National Action Plan (NAP) clearly states that no non-state organization has power to form or keep an armed militia,” he said. “Presently US President Donald Trump will be waiting for the call of Prime Minister Imran Khan,” he said. He said that democratic institutions are free. “The Pakistan team fought the case vigorously during the FATF meeting. India is working against Pakistan with regard to the FATF,” he said.
