No space for corrupt people in Pakistan, says CM Buzdar

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar on Thursday said that there is no space for corrupt people in Pakistan.

In a statement, the chief minister reiterated that Pakistan will reach its destination under the leadership of PM Imran Khan. "The prime minister is taking courageous decisions in line with public expectations for the protection of national interest," he added.

Usman Buzdar said that PTI under the leadership of PM Imran Khan started accountability of big fishes for the first time in history of Pakistan. "People who were considered about the law in the past, are now under facing the law," he added.

Earlier, Usman Buzdar has said that the government gave the best budget in Punjab.

Addresisng the concluding session of the budget meeting on Wednesday, he said that the government had allocated Rs 189 billion for Southern Punjab.

"The health card will be given to 110 million people of the province by December 31," he added.

The chief minister said that the government had given 25 percent special allowance for employees from BS 1 to 19 as wel as 10 percent adhoc allowance. "Punjab is only province where the tax revenue target is surplus," he declared.

He said that teh government is following the vision of providing opportunities of equal progress to every citizen.
