No threat to democracy from us, says DG ISPR

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor has said that there is no threat to democracy from them. In an interview with a private TV channel on Monday, he said that stability is very essential for the country. “We are the army of the people and do whatever we can do for the people,” he maintained. The DG ISPR said that they would follow the order whatever they receive about the elections. He termed the allegation of the Haqqani network attacks from Pakistan as baseless.
