No trade with India without resolution of Kashmir issue, declares PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that there will be no trade with India without resolution of Kashmir issu.

He was presiding over a meeting regarding trade with India and other countries on Friday.

The prime minister said that it would give a negative impression if Pakistan resumes trade with India, ignoring Kashmir. "Our relations with India cannot be normalized without giving India right to self-determination," he maintained.

The meeting agreed not to resume trade with India.

Sources said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had rejected the recommendations of the ministers regarding import of sugar, cotton and yarn from India.

The meeting that India should review the unilateral illegal act taken on August 5, 2019. It also decided to defer the decision of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC).
