No welfare projects were built for Balochistan in past: Jam Kamal

QUETTA (92 News) – Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan on Sunday said that no major welfare projects were initiated for Balochistan in the past. Speaking at a ceremony of laptop distribution among students, the chief minister mentioned that firstly, the government has to take a change in system. He also said that no welfare projects were constructed for Balochistan in Past but now the government is putting up efforts for the provision of basic facilities to the people. Jam Kamal said none of the scheme is useful, unless its benefits are channelized to the masses. He also termed that Greater Water project was not completed yet during 15 years. “There are several projects which were launched in the province but were never concluded,” he added. Meanwhile, the Balochistan chief minister Khan distributed laptops among one hundred and fifty students of various educational institutions in Quetta. Jam Kamal Khan said the provincial government is endeavouring to provide all basic facilities of life to the people across the province.
