Nobody's father can apply Article 6 to Imran Khan, says Sheikh Rasheed

LAHORE (92 News) - Awami Muslim League chairman Sheikh Rasheed has said that nobody's father can apply Article 6 to PTI chairman Imran Khan.

A case was heard against Sheikh Rasheed's anti-corruption Punjab summons’ notice in the Lahore High Court. During the hearing, the court stopped Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) from harassing Sheikh Rasheed. The court remarked that the deal has not yet been completed and the full amount has not been taken, so how could the land be sold? At this, Sheikh Rasheed said that those who were given the land did not give 89% of the money. “I am not getting the money for the land, possession is with me, anti-corruption sent a summons notice against the law."

Talking to the media, Sheikh Rasheed also criticized Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and said: “I was called by anti-corruption on the request of Rana Sanaullah. One has to perform ablution before taking the name of Article 6. Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari and Shehbaz Sharif all have different opinions on this issue.”

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till August 27 and summoned the Director Vigilance Anti-Corruption in personal capacity along with the records.
