42 candidates' papers accepted from Sindh for Senate polls

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The nomination papers of 42 candidates for the Senate election from Sindh province have been accepted while five nomination papers have been rejected. The final list of the candidates will be published on Monday, while, revised lists of candidates for the Senate elections against the seats of Federal Capital and FATA will be published on Tuesday. Candidates can withdraw their nomination papers for Senate elections from four provinces today. Polling for the Senate elections will be held on 3rd of next month. Two candidates of senate elections from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Maulana Samiul Haq and Abdul Wasey withdrew their nomination papers on Monday. According to Election Commissioner Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, they had submitted their nomination papers for general seats.
