Nomination papers of Imran Khan accepted for NA-243

KARACHI (92 News) – PTI Chairman Imran Khan's nomination papers for NA-243 (Karachi) were accepted after the RO dismissed the objections raised against his candidacy. According to the details, Imran Khan's nomination papers for NA-131 (Lahore) was also approved. However, the returning officer (RO) has rejected the nomination papers of PTI Chairman Imran Khan for the NA-53 constituency of Islamabad. His papers has been rejected due to incomplete affidavit. The RO said that the candidate failed to fill the affidavit as per the requirements. Additionally, the nomination papers of PTI leader Aleem Khan and his wife, Kiran Aleem, have been approved for Lahore's NA-131 and NA-129, and PP-148, respectively.
