Noor Mukadam murder case: Court rejects bail pleas of accused's parents

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Additional Sessions Judge Sheikh Muhammad Sohail on Thursday rejected the bail pleas of the parents of Zahir Jaffar, the main accused, in the Noor Mukadam murder case.

On Wednesday, the court had reserved the judgement on the pleas after completion of the arguments. Zahir Jaffar's parents are in Adiala Jail.

In the written five-page judgement, the court observed that the accused had informed the rehabilitation centre instead of the police. "The accused not only tried to removed evidence but also abetted the crime," it observed.

The court said that there is sufficient evidence to link the crime to the accused.
