Nosheen Javed Amjad appointed as FBR chairperson

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The government appointed Nosheen Javed Amjad, a BPS-22 officer of Inland Revenue Service, as the chairperson of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Monday. Earlier, the Establishment Division had cancelled the two-year contract of the FBR Chairman Shabbar Zaidi who is already on leave for an indefinite period. Owing to the leave of Shabbar Zaidi, Nosheen Javed Amjad was already working as FBR chairperson since January 17.
