PML-N doesn’t believe in politics of blame game: Nawaz
March 1, 2018
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday while criticizing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said that he was not a man who blindly level allegations against anyone. Talking to media after appearing before the accountability court, he said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) does not believe in the politics of blame game. The former premier said that will make statement after reviewing the controversy pertaining to the Bani Gala residence of the PTI chairman. “I am trying to understand the issue, having a discussion with my colleagues and lawyers and will make statement after reaching the conclusion,” he said. Sharif said he has heard that the Supreme Court will take up the case at 1pm today, adding that he will see how the apex court proceeds on the matter. Responding to a question, he said that it was the beauty of democratic process that the elected government was bound to face opposition’ criticism patiently. He said that PTI should do whatever they want but winning will be with PML-N in next general election 2018. Earlier, former secretary of the Union Council of Sohan Muhammad Umar yesterday denied the issuance of no-objection certificate (NOC) for the construction of his Bani Gala residence. He said that the PTI chief never sought any NOC, adding that the office, at the time, was not equipped with digital record facility. The former secretary said that Imran Khan was asked to forward a map of the location for required legal process to take its course which was never produced so the authority did not follow the case.
