ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Responding Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah, Minister for Communications Murad Saeed said that it is not right to discuss the ongoing court matters in the National Assembly. Addressed the session of National Assembly, the minister said that Rana Sanaullah should not have presented his viewpoint in Parliament while holding the Holy Quran in his hands. “All of us have taken oath and everything that is said in the NA is true. It is a violation of oath if we speak lie here,” he added. Murad Saeed maintained that the PTI-led government did not level allegations of Model Town incident, relations with banned outfits and murders against Rana Sanaullah. “The court is hearing Rana Sanaullah’s case in which the suspect and the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) both have different stance,” he added. Murad Saeed also said that State Minister for Narcotics Control Shehryar Afridi will reply all the questions raised by the PML-N lawmaker on Monday session. Earlier, speaking to the floor of NA, PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah has demanded to form judicial commission in drugs recovery case. the PML-N leader demanded to constitute judicial commission and parliamentary committee to investigate drugs recovery charges against him. He cursed those who ordered to make fake cases and who made the cases against him. Raising the reservations on the ANF investigation, he said every citizen has right of fair trial. “I’m ready to pass through any process to prove my innocence”, he said while holding the Holy Quran in his hands. Reminding the story of his arrest by the ANF, Rana Sanaullah said he was taken into custody at the Toll Plaza after being stopped by the officials. He said he was moved to ANF police station and on the next day he was told that 15 kg heroin was recovered from his vehicle. The former law minister leader further claimed he was never interrogated by the ANF officials and challenged to prove the video footage to prove him wrong. He said he is innocent and sought Almighty Allah’s guidance for those who fixed him in what he thinks a fake case.
