NOWSHERA (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed on Sunday that Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would have been a national hero if he had come out against corruption, but now he has become a ‘national zero’.
Speaking to journalists, Sheikh Rasheed clarified that he was just talking about the political ‘death’ of the PPP chairman, not the actual one. “Bilawal is moving towards political death for his father Asif Ali Zardari,” he added.
“I am a bird lover. I cannot even think of killing someone,” the minister taunted at Bilawal.
The minister the PPP chairman has been granted permission to lead a train march from Karachi to Larkana for the 40th death anniversary of PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He also regretted that he was not allowed to stage such a march via train in the past.

Govt plan to lay 1700km new railway tracks: Sheikh Rasheed
The railways minister informed that the government is working on a plan to lay 1700 kilometers new railway tracks across Pakistan. He said various projects related to Railways would be completed under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The minister said Pakistan Railways has set target to earn ten billion rupees revenue annually out of which four billion rupees have already been earned. He inspected repair and maintenance work at the station and expressed satisfaction over it.
Sheikh Rasheed said additional six new trains three each in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be run soon. He said historical railway stations will be established in Takht Bhai and Malakand areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Renewing his pledge to dole out 10, 000 jobs, he said an agreement had been reached with China under which 900 out of 1,000 jobs would be given to Pakistani citizens. He hoped that a deal with regard to ML-1 project would be finalised soon under which double rail tracks would be laid from Karachi to Peshawar.
He said he would bring about a revolution in Pakistan Railways under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, expressing the optimism to achieve a revenue target of Rs10 billion.
He announced he would launch a shuttle service in Nowshera from April 30 given that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister resolves minor issues concerning the railways in the province. He said rail tracks laid during the colonial era would be restored.
