Now Shehbaz Sharif will head one PAC, I will head another: Sh Rasheed

GUJRANWALA (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has said that there will be now two public accounts committees (PACs) – one will be led by Shehbaz Sharif and another by him. Talking to the media in Gujranwala on Friday, he said that the Sharif and Zardari families had even taken away the windows of the national exchequer. “Now both – Sharifs and Zardari – want relaxation after failing to get a deal and they will not get relaxation at any costs,” he maintained. The minister said that he would continue to expose the drama of Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari. He said that the production orders cannot be issued during the remand. Earlier addressing the launching ceremony of ‘Clean Green and Courteous Railways’, the minister said that he would himself oversee the campaign to ensure its success across the country. “I will travel to Lahore, Faisalabad, Narowal, Sialkot, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta during the campaign and focus on cleanness at all railway stations and platforms. Tree plantation will also be ensured along the railway tracks to advance Prime Minister Imran Khan’s idea of clean and green Pakistan,” he said. Sheikh Rasheed said that Pakistan Railways will be turned into an efficient, modern and profit earning public service utility. The minister said that ticketing system will be further improved showing zero tolerance towards fare dodgers. “The tracker system will soon be installed in trains to enable the citizens to track the timings of trains through their mobile phone devices. The salaries of Railways police will be enhanced equal to that of Punjab police.”
