ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan High Commissioner in New Delhi has invited Hurriyat leaders for a ‘reception party’ on August 23, the day the NSA-level talks between the two countries are scheduled in New Delhi. The prime minister’s Advisor on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz will meet the Hurriyat leaders. The United Nations and United States have taken notice of the ‘escalation of violence’ along the Line of Control (LoC). The UN and US called upon India and Pakistan to exercise ‘maximum restraint’ and expressed serious concern over the firing along the LoC. Sartaj Aziz’s visit to New Delhi could play a role in defusing tensions between Indian and Pakistan. The Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi has invited Hurriyat leaders Mirwaiz Umer Farooq and Syed Ali Gilani on August 23 to relieve their concerns. The Indian media has already started propaganda war that Pakistan is crossing red line drawn by India.
