December 5, 2017
KARACHI (92 News) – The Sindh High Court (SHC) has on Tuesday declared null and void the provincial government’s decision to conduct fresh entry test for admission in the government-run medical colleges of the province after the leak of National Testing Service (NTS) test paper. The court directed to retain the previous results of the entry test conducted by the National Testing Service (NTS) in October. The ruling further stated that the parties can approach the Supreme Court. The SHC had reserved its judgment about the leak of National Testing Service (NTS) test paper for medical colleges and universities. Earlier, some students through their counsels had prayed in the court that students who have passed the same NTS test are being punished due to the leak. They said that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has no power to interfere with matters of the NTS and a notification to postpone the test issued by the provincial government should be suspended.
