KARACHI (92 News) – Nusrat Sehar Abbasi of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) staged protest after exchanging hot words with Sindh Health Minister Dr Azra Pechuho. Hullabaloo began with the start of the Sindh Assembly session on Thursday. The opposition objected the replies given by the health minister. Nusrat Sehar Abbasi said that why the minister was making speech in English. “We continued to look for the Sindh health minister during the coronavirrus epidemic. Who devoured Rs5 billion? Millions of rupees were spent on the distribution of soaps,” he said. She questioned why doctors were protesting. “The Sindh health minister claims of the best system in government hospitals. Why were Asif Zardari and Ghulam Murtza Baloch treated in private hospitals?” Nusrat Sehar Abbasi said that the poor had been left to die in government hospitals. PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh said that ‘bhashan’ (lecture), instead of ration, was given to the masses in Sindh. He appealed to the government to do something for patients. “Our captain has given Rs35 billion to the people in Sindh. The Sindh government should tell whether it has given Rs35 to the people,” he said.
