Objective of Jahangir Tareen, Aleem Khan was to get benefit after assuming power: Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI chairman Imran Khan has claimed that the objective of Jahangir Tareen and Aleem Khan was to get benefit after assuming power.
In an interview on Thursday night, Imran Khan said that Aleem Khan wanted to purchase 300 acres of land on the Ravi River and get it legalized.
"We parted the ways from there. Some people are sitting in our institutions that support the corrupt people. Nations destroy when small thieves are apprehended while big thieves are spared," he maintained.
The PTI chairman said that he had known in July that the N League had made a plan to topple his government. "I will assume the power if I got a majority in the parliament. Jahangir Tareen went against me when I launched an inquiry against the sugar mafia."
He said that he would not give the ticket to 'lotas' (turncoats) even though he lost the elections.
Imran Khan said that he would not sit in the parliament. He also criticized Shehbaz Sharif and the judiciary, saying that the people getting benefit from the corrupt system are sitting in the parliament. "We have such system where money is used in the Senate elections," he added.
