Objective of our meetings is to strengthen Usman Buzdar: Ch Pervaiz Elahi

LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi has said that the objective of their meetings is to strengthen Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. Talking to the media on Wednesday, the speaker said that it was prerogative of the prime minister whether it is a change of the cabinet or the chief minister. “Moonis Elahi has no need to contact Hamza Shehbaz and there is no possibility of it in future as well,” he said. The PA speaker said that differences in the party are beauty of democracy. “We fully support Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar,” he announced. Denying the reports that he is being made the governor, Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that he was an elected speaker and there is no truth in such news. He said that Tariq Bashir Cheema had talked about the Bahawalpur province.
