Our officers always upheld proud tradition of leading from front in war on terror: COAS

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – COAS General Raheel Sharif visited Pakistan Military Academy Kakul on Monday. The visit was focused on reviewing the current training regime for cadets and PMA’s capacity enhancement projects, including inauguration of 4th Pakistan Battalion. The COAS appreciated ongoing improvements in the training and administrative facilities for cadets. Speaking on the occasion, COAS emphasized on the need for future leadership to focus on their all round professional grooming. The COAS said: “With an enhanced degree of professional ethos, pride and esprit de corps we can meet all challenges effectively and comprehensively. During fight against terrorism, our officers have always upheld the proud tradition of leading from the front, regardless of the cost,” the COAS emphasized. On arrival at PMA, COAS was received by Lieutenant General Qamar Qamar Javed Bajwa, IGT& E and Major General Nadeem Raza and Commandant Pakistan Military Academy. Earlier, COAS  General Raheel Sharif called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad. During the meeting, matters pertaining to law and order situation in the country and other issues cane under discussion. pm-coas Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif were also present in the meeting.
