KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah paid surprise visits to several provincial departments at Sindh Secretariat and found officers and staff missing on Monday. The CM expressed his indignation at officers and staffers found absent from duty. The Excise Secretary, Deputy Secretary and Local Government Secretary Roshan Sheikh were also found missing from their offices. The staff told the CM that the Local Government secretary was in a meeting with the chief secretary, while no meeting was held there. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that lie is intolerable. The chief minister ordered to issue show-cause notices to the absent officers. “How will the staff reach offices if the officers are absent?” Meanwhile, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah inaugurated the anti-polio drive by administering drops to children. He also gave gifts to children. Talking to the media, he said that he used to meet Sindh Governor Imran Ismail. “The cabinet had decided to transfer the IGP. The PM had assured to transfer the IGP,” he added.
