QUETTA (92 News) – An official of security forces was martyred while five others injured in a blast near Zarghoon Road on Tuesday. The blast occurred near a vehicle of security forces. Emergency has been declared in Civil Hospital. The injured have been shifted to hospital. Security forces have reached the spot and cordoned off the area. On September 5, 10 people, including station house officers (SHOs) of Kaharotabad and Airport, were injured in two blasts at Khaizi Chowk, Quetta. The injured have been shifted to trauma centre. According to the Bomb Disposal Squad, 12kg explosive material was used in the blast. Ball bearings were used in the blast. A heavy contingent of police reached the spot and sealed the area. On August 6, two people were killed while seven injured in a blast near Haideri Market on Mission Road. According to rescue sources, the injured have been shifted to hospital and being provided medical treatment. Meanwhile, security forces have reached the spot and cordoned off the area. On July 30, five people, including a policeman, were killed and 32 others injured in a blast near a vehicle of the security forces at Meezan Chowk. On July 23, eight people including five policemen were martyred and 22 others were injured in two 'linked to each other' acts of terrorism in Dera Ismail Khan on Sunday. Two unidentified assailants, who were riding a motorcycle, opened fire on on-duty policemen at Kotla Saidan check-post on Daraban Road. The firing left two police constables fatally wounded.
