Ogra prepares summary seeking hike in fuel prices from June 1

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has prepared a summary, seeking an increase in prices of petroleum products from June 01.

According to the details garnered, the Ogra has proposed an increase of Rs4.30 per litre in the price of diesel, while a slight increase in the price of petrol and kerosene has also been suggested.

Meanwhile, the Ogra is proposing to maintain the price of light diesel.

It is pertinent to mention here that the summary for increasing fuel prices for a period of the next 15 days from June 01 is being sent to the finance ministry for approval.

The final decision on the prices of petroleum products will be taken by the Ministry of Finance in consultation with PM Imran Khan.

On May 15, the government had decided to keep the prices of petroleum products unchanged for the remaining month of May.
