OGRA recommends Rs9 per liter hike in petroleum price

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended surge in petroleum product prices for the month of December on Thursday. As per sources, the regulatory body recommended Rs5.21 per litre increase in the prices of petrol, Rs2 per litre increase in diesel price, Kerosene oil Rs9.91 per litre while Light Diesel Rs7.79 per litre. Although the government has not yet made an announcement regarding the change in POL prices, it is likely to notify the new prices on Friday. The final decision will be made by the ministry of finance with the approval of the Prime Minister Imran Khan. Earlier in last month, the federal government increased the prices of diesel and petrol by Rs5 and Rs6.37 per litre, respectively, for the month of November.
