OGRA reduces LPG price by Rs5.90 per kg
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) reduced the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs5.90 per kg for the month of January.
According to a notification issued by the OGRA on Friday, the price of an 11.8kg cylinder has been reduced by Rs69.63.
The new price of LPG has been fixed at Rs196.67 per kg. After the decrease, a domestic cylinder will be available at Rs2320.81 as compared to December's price of Rs2390.44.
In a tweet, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhary said that after the Sehat card, the government has reduced the price of LPG by Rs6 per kg. "It will directly benefit the 72 percent population deprived of the pipe gas. In the next year, a significant decrease will be witnessed in the prices of food items and energy.
