OGRA seeks Rs 1.48/liter hike in petrol price

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary to the government, proposing Rs 1.48 per liter hike in petrol prices. Meanwhile, an increase of Rs 1.48 and Rs 15.00 per liter has been proposed in the prices of high-speed diesel and kerosene oil respectively. The OGRA also recommended an increase of Rs13.15 per litre in the price of light diesel oil (LDO). If the government approves the regulator’s determinations, the new petrol price will be Rs77.47 per litre against the existing Rs75.99 per litre.
