MUZAFFARABAD (92 News) – A delegation of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission (IPHRC) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Friday has left for Muzaffarabad on a two-day visit.

According to a statement, the delegation will visit the Line of Control (LoC) for monitoring of the on-ground situation.

The delegation includes members from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Turkey, Tunisia, Morocco and Malaysia. The delegation will held meeting with the Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) president, members of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and Kashmiri refugees.

It is pertinent to mention here that a 12-member OIC delegation's visit is coincided with the completion of two years of India’s illegal steps of August 5.

Earlier, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said that India had refused to allow five foreign journalists permission to visit Pakistan.

In a tweet, the minister asked New Delhi to allow the independent journalists to visit Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and report the facts.

He regretted that India refused to allow five foreign journalists to visit Pakistan, who were supposed to attend the 5th August session of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.
