OIC statement is Pakistan's success, defeat of India: Firdous
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan has welcomed the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) statement of showing solidarity with people of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK).
Firdous Ashiq Awan took her twitter and said, “We welcome OIC’s statement on Occupied Kashmir, solution of the conflict lies in the resolutions of the United Nations (UN).”
“The statement of OIC is success for the Pakistan's stance on Kashmir and the defeat of India”, she said in her another tweet.او آئی سی کا مظلوم کشمیریوں کے حق میں ایک بار پھر آواز بلند کرنے کا خیرمقدم کرتے ہیں۔او آئی سی نے عالمی ضمیر کو باور کرایا ہے کہ کرفیو اٹھایا جائے اور مسئلہ کشمیر کا حل اقوام متحدہ کی قراردادوں کے مطابق ہی ممکن ہے۔

She also said that today, Prime Minister Imran Khan has exposed Indian atrocities in the occupied Kashmir. Responding to the PM’s address to Muslim community in Houston, the special assistant said that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is running Indian government instead of PM Narendra Modi. She urged the international community to mount pressure on India for lifting curfew on the Kashmiri people. Firdous Ashiq Awan also explained that India has turned into extremist state and violated the human rights badly in the Occupied Kashmir. She also urged the US to take strict notice of the Indian atrocities in IoK. OIC has been following with concern developments in Jammu and Kashmir as a result of the unilateral decision taken by India on 5 August 2019 revoking Constitutional Article 370, thereby removing the special status of the Indian-held Jammu and Kashmir,” reads a press release.او آئی سی کا بیان پاکستان کے اصولی موقف کی جیت اور بھارت کی ہار ہے۔ حق اور سچ پر کھڑی قوم کو کوئی ظلم، جبر اور بندوق شکست نہیں دے سکتی۔
