One accused arrested over beating of Pashto singer Neelam Gul

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Police arrested one accused from two of them who was involved in beating and abusing of Pashto actress and singer Neelam Gul. As per details, Neelam Gul filed an application against her husband Murad and her brother-in-law Munsaf Shah for beating and domestic abused. The police arrested her brother-in-law Munsaf Shah after her complaint. The raid is being conducted to arrest her husband Murad. Yesterday, the singer uploaded her video on social media and showed her miserable condition. She demanded justice and registered a case against her husband. She said that her husband has put her in this miserable condition. “My condition is due to my husband. He has been torturing me for seven years,” she said. The Pashtu singer also alleged that her brother-in-law also beats her. Neelam Gul demanded justice for herself against this domestic abuse. Earlier on Thursday, Pashto stage actress and singer Reshma was allegedly shot dead by her husband over domestic dispute in Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Reshma’s brother Obaidullah lodged an FIR with the police and accused her husband Faida Khan of the murder.
