One bogie of train carrying coal found empty

KARACHI (92 News) – One bogie of a goods train going from Karachi to Sahiwal and carrying coal for Sahiwal Coal Power Plant was found empty. The train consisted of 18 bogies and 22 tons of coal was loaded on each bogie. When the train reached Sahiwal, it was found that one bogie was completely empty. The railway officials had no idea how the bogie carrying 22 tons of coal went empty. When Railway AMS was informed, he was also surprised. The railway officials started investigation while the Chinese experts working on the coal project also went to review the situation. This was the second train to carry coal for Sahiwal Power Project. The first train reached four days ago which was inaugurated by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
