One elder, two minors killed in road accident in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - As many as three people including two children and their grandfather were killed when a highspeeding vehicle rammed into them as they stood on the sidewalk on near the Zero Point area on Sunday morning. As per police sources, 52-year old Waris was standing alongside the road with his grandsons and granddaughter when a speeding car crushed them to death. As result of the accident,  two children were also seriously injured. The dead were shifted to PIMS Hospital. The errant driver escaped from the scene after the incident, abandoning the vehicle. Police have started efforts to arrest the driver.
