One killed, five injured in unprovoked Indian firing

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – A man was killed and five others injured due to unprovoked firing by Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) at Harpal and Chuprar sectors on working boundary since Tuesday night. In a statement issued by the ISPR, Pakistan Rangers befittingly responded to Indian firing. Since October 21, four civilians have embraced martyrdom while 21 injured due to unprovoked Indian firing along the working boundary. Pakistan yesterday summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner to the foreign office. The Indian Deputy High Commissioner was summoned to the foreign office on Tuesday and strong protest was lodged with him over the recent unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian troops at the working boundary in Phuklian and Chaprar sectors. The violations had resulted in the martyrdom of two civilians including one and a half years old innocent baby girl. Six civilians were also injured as a result of the Indian shelling.
