One killed in rain-related roof collapse incident in Lahore

LAHORE (92 News) – One person was killed and three others wounded in a rain-related roof collapse incident on Raiwind Road in the provincial capital on Sunday. The rain lashed different parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) since Saturday night and broke the spell of humid weather. Cities like Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Chiniot, and Okara witnessed downpour. In Lahore, at least 150 power feeders tripped, leaving parts of the city in darkness. A labour was killed and three others injured after the roof of a property collapsed in Sher Shah Colony on Raiwind Road in morning. The injured were shifted to a hospital.
