ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday termed that a leader who does not take “U-turns” according to the situation is not a real leader. Speaking to the journalist, the prime minister mentioned that that a leader who does not know to take U-turns according to the requirements of the situations, no foolish is the bigger than him. Referring to Adolf Hitler and Napoleon Bonaparte, Imran Khan said, “Hitler and Napoleon suffered huge defeats and caused losses as they did not take U-turns.” He also said that Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif will not be appointed chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) at any cost. “It would be a joke to make someone who is facing corruption charges the chairperson,” he said. Talking to the column writers, the prime minister advised that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to lay hand on big fish involved in corruption. He asserted that amendments in NAB Ordinance are necessary for smooth working of NAB. PM Khan said that the criticism from the opposition side increased when the foreign assets were revealed in the foreign countries. “We have traced $15 billion that was sent to Dubai from Pakistan. Work is under way to bring back looted wealth,” he said. “We have also signed agreements with Britain and Switzerland,” the prime minister explained. To a question, the premier said that a leader who does not take U-turns according to the requirements of the situation is not a real leader; however, he is not more than a foolish person. “What Nawaz Sharif did in court was not a U-turn but a lie,” he added. He ignored to speak about the details of agreement in his recent trip to China, while he assured that China aid to Pakistan would help revive its economy and deal with debt and balance-of-payments problems.
