LAHORE (92 News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar Thursday said open balloting is necessary for transparency in the Senate polls, and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has finalized its strategy for victory of candidates in Punjab.

The chief minister said during a meeting with a delegation led by PTI chief organizer Saifullah Khan Niazi. They also discussed current political affairs, party matters and the Senate polls.

CM Buzdar expressed good wishes to Saifullah Niazi, Ejaz Chaudhry and other Senate candidates. “Those who do horse-trading in the Senate elections will face defeat. These elements are scared and that is why they are opposing open balloting. PTI will emerge as the party with majority in the Senate after the elections,” he added.

Saifullah Niazi said, “Prime Minister Imran Khan and CM Buzdar have set an example of transparency in the official affairs and people have complete faith in the PTI leadership. The negative narrative of the opposition has flopped and it has been exposed.”
