Opera star Saira Peter once again enthralls audience at Lahore Gymkhana

LAHORE (92 News) - Pakistan-origin British opera star Saira Peter recently mesmerised her audience in a four hour non-stop performance at Lahore Gymkhana.

The 17-language singer demonstrated her skill in six languages that day. The opera star's repertoire featured English arias and classical songs, Urdu 'thumri', 'ghazals', film and Punjabi songs.

She also sang a special Arabic song of Umm-e-Kalsoum. Saira

Peter and her enthusiastic audience shared lively interaction throughout the concert. She conveyed her love for the music of her homeland and thanked Gymkhana for showing so much honour.

She remarked that she will carry their love and kindness wherever she goes. Misbah Rehman, Chairman Lahore Gymkhana, presented her a bouquet.
