Operation against dacoits stopped in Shikarpur for lack of 'modern weapons'

SHIKARPUR (92 News) – The ongoing operation against dacoits was stopped due to lack of armoured vehicles and modern weapons.

Sources said that all police contingent has been recalled to Garhi Taighu Bachao Band from the Kacha areas.

The operation will be resumed with a new strategy in a couple of days.

On May 26, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had approved a grand operation to eliminate dacoits in the Kacha area.
