Operation to be launched if Swati fails to remove encroachments: CDA

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Thursday issued a notice to Minister for Science and Technology Azam Khan Swati for removing illegal constructions. The notice stated that Azam Swati constructed illegal basement in his farmhouse that was built on CDA land. It was also stated that an operation would be launched if the minister fails to remove the encroachments. Earlier, Supreme Court (SC) had formed a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to investigate the matter of Islamabad Inspector General of Police transfer case. Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar had sought report for answers of the 10 questions from the JIT within two weeks.
